Amsterdam, the Netherlands — 11–14 September 2026 — IBC2026, the world's premier event for the media and broadcast industry, was held in Amsterdam. Chengdu Newglee Technology Co., Ltd. (NEWGLEE) presented its fully self-developed digital radio portfolio at Booth 8.F71, featuring DAB+/DRM dual-mode receivers and SDR (Software Defined Radio) reception solutions tailored to the European and North African markets. The team engaged in in-depth discussions with broadcasters, automotive manufacturers and research institutes, driving forward overseas channel development and project cooperation.
As the most specialized exhibition in broadcast and communications, IBC gathers core customers and technology resources from across the global value chain. At this edition, NEWGLEE focused on digital radio transmission and reception, signal monitoring and multi-device reception, demonstrating a mature, deployment-ready end-to-end digital audio solution that reflects the company's expertise in broadcast digitization.

The highlight of the showcase was the NGA-603, a portable DAB+/DRM dual-mode receiver and one of the most fully featured stand-alone portable digital radio receivers currently available. Fully compliant with both the DAB+ and DRM standards, it supports audio recording, GPS-referenced reception quality (coverage) analysis and data logging. Purpose-built for broadcast drive testing, signal acquisition and scientific evaluation, it drew strong attention from professional visitors on site.
For the automotive sector, NEWGLEE offers a tiered approach:
OE (factory-fit) market: an SDR-based reception solution offering high flexibility and compatibility with a wide range of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) head units;
Aftermarket: a DRM radio tuner dongle, matched to each customer's actual requirements.
Live demonstrations on tablet devices showed the SDR solution operating across smartphones, tablets and head units, highlighting its high compatibility, ease of integration and low adaptation cost. The solution provides automotive manufacturers with an efficient, mature one-stop approach to product R&D, export certification testing and mass-production adaptation — precisely meeting the current demand for in-vehicle digital radio upgrades.

The booth attracted professional visitors from across Europe, Africa and Asia, including network operators and broadcasters, system integrators, automotive equipment manufacturers and research institutes. Addressing each customer scenario individually, the NEWGLEE team explained product strengths and customized solutions, discussed market cooperation, distributor onboarding and EPC project engagement, and secured multiple preliminary cooperation intentions on site.
"IBC is a highly professional international exhibition for the broadcast and communications industry, bringing together quality industry resources and professional customers worldwide," a company representative stated at the booth. "We hope to use this platform to introduce NEWGLEE to more overseas customers and earn their recognition of our end-to-end digital audio capabilities. We remain committed to technological innovation and to delivering stable, reliable digital radio transmission, reception, monitoring and multi-device reception solutions to customers around the world."
Building on the productive showcase and engagement at IBC, NEWGLEE has gained clearer insight into demand trends in the European and North African digital radio and automotive test markets. Going forward, the company will continue to iterate its full DAB+/DRM product line and SDR multi-platform receivers, expand its overseas distributor network, accelerate overseas project deployment, and further deepen its presence in global broadcast digitization and the automotive sector.
